Birth-to-Three Early Intervention System’s Child Development Watch Family Survey Report
To assist Delaware’s Birth to Three Early Intervention System Child Development Watch (CDW) program, the Center for Disabilities Studies has conducted the evaluation services to report the outcomes as requested by the federal government. Most recently, this involved conducting a telephone survey of a random sample of families who had a child with a disability or developmental delay who had received an individualized family service plans with CDW for at least six months. In all, 220 families throughout the state were interviewed.
The Center asked families about their satisfaction with or perception of CDW services. Questions focused on issues such as changes in their family; changes in children’s development; relationships between the family and CDW; and the accessibility and quality of CDW services.
