Center for Disabilities Studies : Publications: delAware Newsletter & Research Brief
The Center for Disabilities Studies' newsletter delAware is a collaborative project with the Delaware Developmental Disabilities Council. A newsletter for people with disabilities, their families, and the professionals who support them, delAware is published up to three times each year. The issues focus on concerns pertaining to the disabilities field, including advocacy and legislative topics, with updates of activities sponsored by CDS and the Delaware Developmental Disabilities Council. The newsletter is distributed to more than 2600 individuals, families, legislators, policy makers, and professionals.
From time to time we will publish a research brief edition of delAware. While our newsletter highlights services and supports in Delaware, delAware: A Research Brief, highlights current research efforts related to supporting individuals with disabilities in the community, so that community practitioners have easy access to information they need.
