Youth Marijuana Use Rising in Delaware and Nationally

October 15, 2010

Youth marijuana use is on the rise, nationally and in Delaware, according to recent studies by CDAS and other organizations. Based on 2009 data, the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) reported a rise in youth marijuana use, and 2009 Monitoring the Future (MTF) data indicated a similar rise. CDAS has been able to show not only the same trend in Delaware, but also that the rise continues into 2010. The graph below shows the trend since 2002, and the full report is available at the included link.
