Homework Assignment #3

Due Sunday, June 8th

For this homework assignment, each community team will produce a well-developed draft of a “Vision Statement” for their community.  The assignment consists of the following four steps:

Step 1: Each Blueprint Community planning team develops an initial draft of their community’s vision statement.

Step 2: Each planning team then organizes and convenes a “community meeting of stakeholders” to obtain input from the community about the draft vision statement.

Step 3: The input obtained from the community meeting of stakeholders is then used to create a revised final draft of the community’s vision statement.

Step 4: Each team then submits the results of this process to the training course leaders by June 8.  The material submitted should include the initial draft of the vision statement, the date of the stakeholder meeting, a sign-in sheet showing who attended the stakeholder meeting, and the revised draft of the vision statement.
