As a token of the University's appreciation, an attractive blue and gold lapel pin is sent to 1743 Society members the first year they qualify for membership. Replacement pins may be requested from the Office of University Development.

Giving societies
THE 1743 SOCIETY
The accrued philanthropy of members of the 1743 Society has a major impact on the University, providing funds with which the institution can strengthen academic programs and ensure a quality educational environment for students and faculty.
Levels of support are as follows:
- Member $100 - $249
- Sponsor $250 - $499
- Fellow $500 - $999
- Founder $1,000 - $2,499
- Sustainer $2,500 - $4,999
