Classrooms worldwide invited to 'dive in' to deep-sea expedition
UD researchers will lead an international team to explore deep-sea hydrothermal vents in the Pacific Ocean next month, and middle- and high-school classrooms worldwide are invited to 'dive in' with them.

He breathes, he blinks, he cries and he sweats. He is iStan, a $65,000 mannequin that brings an unprecedented degree of realism to nursing education. As of August, fewer than 250 of the 180-pound models had been shipped to nursing schools and hospitals throughout the country. Thanks to a grant from the Unidel Foundation, UD has one of them.
