Tidewater HFA Kids

Tidewater HFA kids is a network of parents who have children with Asperger's Syndrome/High Functioning Autism and PDD. Their goal is to get their kids more social by placing them together the other kids with the same types of interest.

Meeting Times and Dates:
This group has social outings once or sometimes twice a month.

Activity Locations:
Activities are held at different locations throughout the tidewater area. Some examples are: pizza parties, Arcades, Zoo, Putt-Putt, pool parties, etc.

Who is it for:   Parents. JSSA also sponsors a number of activities including: Social Skills Therapy specifically for children with AS/PDD. Parenting Groups, and a variety of workshops on AS, ADHD, effective discipline, etc.
