What is RSS?

RSS is a popular new way of sharing content, such as news or blog entries, without requiring people to constantly visit a web site to find out what's new. Using an RSS reader, you can view these sources of content (known as "feeds") to view headlines, summaries, and links to full stories.

The easiest way to view an RSS feed is to copy the URL of the feed that interests you and paste it into an RSS reader. The URL for the Department of Biological Sciences RSS feed is:
http://cgi.bisc.udel.edu/rss/biscnews.php
