Because CGSC270 is a Pathways course, it should connect you to additional relevant experiences at or through the University. The purpose of this group assignment is to locate those resources, activities, and experiences that follow from this course.

Each group is to locate:

  1. At least one course offered at the University that you are now interested in or prepared to take because of having had CGSC 270;

  2. At least one non-course experience at the University that you are interested in or prepared to be involved in as a consequence of having had CGSC270 (e.g., internship, laboratory experience, research).

Groups will have to write up their summary of connections (2 pages) and present this to the class.  Be specific: do not just say that there are courses in a particular field or that there are laboratories on campus. Which courses? Why? Which non-classroom experiences? Why?

Group members will receive individually the grade of the group as a whole. Members should decide beforehand how to do the presentation and plan and practice it so that it goes smoothly. Advice: distribute the work -- choose one member to be the presenter, one to be the computer person, one to be responsible for the write up, and so on.
