Focus on Teacher Education
This newsletter serves as a forum for teacher educators' research, insights,
advice, and commentary. Focus on Teacher Education is intended to disseminate best practices for
professional courses and experiences at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral
levels. Our mission is to improve the preparation and continued development of
our next generation of teachers in schools and university settings.
We welcome the participation and perspectives of the following professionals:
- Classroom teachers serving as supervisors of preservice teachers or mentors of inservice teachers
- Classroom teachers conducting action research within their schools
- Administrators engaged in school-university partnerships and collaborations to improve teaching effectiveness at the preservice and inservice levels
- University supervisors of field work and student teaching
- Education professors who work with students at the bachelor's, master's, or doctoral levels.
