Bridging the Gap:
Educating the Hearts & Minds of Our Future
ACEI's Annual International Conference encourages the exchange of diverse opinions.
The ideas presented do not necessarily reflect ACEI's official position on the issues.
ACEI assumes no responsibility for any statement of fact or opinion presented at the Annual International Conference & Exhibition.
Acceptance of presentations, advertising, or exhibits does not imply endorsement of any product, service, or opinion by the Association.
The ACEI Hall of Celebration provides an opportunity for ACEI Branches to exhibit their "Week of the Classroom Teacher" celebration activities during the Teacher Celebration Breakfast (additional fee required) at the Conference. Presentations are visual, with materials arranged logically on a 48" x 48" white presentation board displayed on a draped, skirted table. Recognizing the important work classroom teachers do, especially at the preschool and elementary school levels, ACEI originated the Hall of Celebration in 2001. Now the Hall of Celebration provides an opportunity for ACEI Branches from around the world to share their ideas for honoring these everyday heroes.
Hall of Celebration proposals must contain the following information:
Name(s), address(es), daytime phone number(s), Branch name, as well as e-mail address(es) and fax number(s) if available, for each presenter.
Brief description of proposed poster/display content.
Two stamped, self-addressed envelopes.
Mail Hall of Celebration proposals to:
Sue Martin
80 Felstead Avenue
Toronto, Ontario M4J 1G2 CANADA
All presenters must be registered for the Conference and should purchase a ticket for the Teacher Celebration Breakfast. If a person(s) from your organization submits a proposal which is accepted, your financial support would help facilitate the presenters' participation.
A 48" x 48" white presentation board and draped, skirted 6' table will be provided for the presenter's use. Presenters may choose to preassemble their presentations before coming to the Conference using their own display materials.
Presentation materials must be arranged in a logical fashion on the display board. The title must be easily visible from a distance of 10 feet.
Please do not use materials that cannot be replaced. The exhibit area will be secured, but ACEI assumes no responsibility for loss or theft.
Hall of Celebration proposals must be received by February 28.
A hand-out about your activities would be a valuable addition to teacher resource/idea files. Please plan to bring and distribute 100 copies.
