Account activation and i-cards
Accounts may also be opened online and will be able to be linked to the new University identification card, the i-card. Current students or employees who wish to link a PNC bank account to an i-card can replace their existing University ID card. The i-card will have all of the exciting features and access of the existing University identification card (Dining Meals and Points, Flex, library, parking, etc.) with the added benefit of ATM and debit card access to new or established PNC accounts.

A recarding program will be established for the Fall semester to accommodate those students and faculty/staff members who wish to obtain a new i-card to replace their UD#1 Card. Further information about the recarding process will be available prior to the Fall semester.

Your Choice
Students and employees have a number of choices in terms of banking service providers, and the new banking contract does not limit those choices. Many may have established banking relationships and have no interest in changing while others may be shopping for a bank. You can access additional information about services and offers at the PNC and WSFS Web sites, respectively. For further details about the transition, visit our Frequently Asked Questions, which should answer many of your questions. Furthermore, we welcome your questions about the transition to the new banking services agreement. Contact us at UD-TreasuryServices@udel.edu.
