This page contains links and embedded content related to the 2010 Winter Faculty Institute Kickoff Event. The three main technologies we will use are Ustream.tv, CoverItLive, and Twitter. We will make extensive use of a conference backchannel (backchannel guidelines). A collaborative notebook on Google Docs is also available.
University of Delaware faculty and staff must register using the links on the left-hand side to attend the event. If you are not a University of Delaware staff or faculty or plan to attend virtually, please RSVP on the WFI10 Facebook Event page.
Now that the event is a thing of the past, check out the artifacts section at the bottom of this page. You are also invited to read a UDaily article about the event and watch these high quality videos.
Ustream.tv
Ustream.tv is a free live video streaming site. The direct link to our event channel is: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/wfi10 . Recorded Ustream sessions are available below.

CoverItLive
CoverItLive is a live event helper designed to capture minutes, comments, and links, from a live audience. Links to CoverItLive recordings are available in the agenda on the right-hand side of the screen.
Twitter is a micro-blogging platform that allows people to converse in real time and link to interesting Web pages. Below is a stream of tweets tagged with our conference hashtag (#wfi10).
