2. Satisfy the Praxis I
and Praxis II test requirements. Step 3. Look for a teaching position in your subject. Step 4. Apply for ARTC. Actually, you don't apply directly to ARTC. Once qualified and hired. the school or district will ask to enroll you in the program. |

| WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I'M HIRED AND ENROLLED? | ||

Year Internship With Supervision and Mentoring. Your district or school will walk you through the required health and criminal background checks, provide intensive mentoring and supervision, and document your first year of teaching as an internship in lieu of student teaching. Professional
Education Courses. You will complete a state-approved program of 5
graduate-level professional education courses at the University of Delaware
in Newark or Georgetown. Tuition
reimbursement and financial aid are available.
