Praxis I

The
Praxis I is a set of basic skills tests in reading, writing and
mathematics that is required of all Delaware teachers. Candidates
should satisfy this requirement as soon as possible and ideally
before beginning ARTC courses. In all cases it must be completed
by the end of the school year after the year of hire.
The Department of Education DEEDS website and ETS provide detailed information on passing scores, exemptions for SAT and GRE scores, composite scores and reporting for Delaware. The Praxis I is available in a paper-and-pencil version at a number of sites around the state. Check the Educational Testing Service (ETS) for places and dates.
