How to Contact Us

REMEMBER . . ARTC is ONLY an option if you can qualify to teach one of the critical needs subject areas currently covered by the program. We'll be happy to tell you if you're close and what you would need to do to qualify. If you do not have a good fit with one of these subjects or are interested in other subjects or grade levels, do explore additional certification programs available at Delaware colleges and universities.

THINK YOU MAY QUALIFY AND WANT TO PROCEED?

First provide a copy of all relevant transcripts (unofficial are fine at this point). You may fax, email or snailmail to the Newark Office. If you are a UD grad, email your name when you were enrolled, your birthdate, and the college you attended. In both cases, BE SURE YOUR NAME, PHONE AND EMAIL ADDRESS are WITH the transcripts.

You will receive an email documenting your eligibility and inviting you to submit our request form.

Since you must first be hired as a full-time teacher in your subject area, you should begin exploring teaching jobs now. The request form, if you indicate that we may share it, allows us to help you in your job hunt by including you in our database of potential teachers and distributing your contact information to school district personnel offices.

AND don't forget the Praxis I and Praxis II requirements!
