Research Interests

Shellfish and finfish aquaculture, aquatic production systems, fisheries and marine resource development, technology transfer and training, information organization and retrieval, internet resources.

Current Projects

• Delaware Aquaculture Resource Center and WWW Home Page.
• Inservice educational programs for Delaware teachers using aquaculture in the classroom.
• Hard clam (Mercenaria mercenaria) culture/stock enhancement field demonstration work in Rehoboth Bay.
• Delaware Aquaculture Advisory Council: assisting Delaware Aquaculture Association and state agencies with development of aquaculture regulations and legislation.
• Coordinator and principal investigator of the Northeastern Regional Aquaculture Center (NRAC) Regional Extension Network Project (1993-present).
