Alumni Challenge FY 2006

Alumni participation in the University’s Annual Giving program is essential. It not only impacts the level of funding the University receives from other sources, such as foundations and corporations, but it also plays a significant part in how the University is ranked among other institutions. Your gift strengthens the reputation of the University and thus increases the value of your degree.

To support the University’s fundraising needs and to help increase participation among alumni, there will be an Alumni Challenge in FY 2006. The goal of the Alumni Challenge is to obtain 1,000 new alumni donors – those alumni who have not made a donation to the University in the past are eligible for the challenge. For each gift received a match will be directed to support the construction of the Center for the Arts.

Through the Alumni Challenge, gifts designated to the Center for the Arts will be matched 2:1. Donors designating their gift to other areas of the University will receive a 1:1 match.

Alumni Challenge donors may be eligible for Delaware Diamonds Society membership for gifts and matches totaling a minimum of $1,000.
