Registration

When is the registration deadline?

A: Registration for Mug Night and Lunch with the UD Mascots will stay open until the day of the event if they have not sold out. NOTE: As of 5/23, both Mug Night tents have sold out. There is no wait list, and no more tickets will be made available. The deadline for refunds and tent switching (May 17) has passed. No exceptions will be made regarding refunds or tent switching. (hide)

Which tent should I choose at Mug Night?

A: There are two large tents at Mug Night on The North and South Green, on either side of Memorial Hall. Click here to view a map of the Gold Tent. Click here to view a map of the Blue Tent. One tent will have the popular UD band from the 90s Love Seed Mama Jump. The other tent will have the popular 2000s band Speaker City. We suggest that alumni who graduated in or before the 1990s sign up for the Love Seed Mama Jump tent, and alumni who graduated in the 2000s sign up for the Speaker City tent. This is just a suggestion so you can enjoy the night with other alumni closer to your age and class year. All other tent features, including food, alcohol and decorations, will be identical.

TENT SWITCHING POLICY: If your desired tent is not full, you may switch your tent until May 17, 2013. No exceptions to this deadline will be made. If your desired tent is at capacity, then you will not be permitted to switch, regardless of when you ask. Your Mug Night name badge will be printed with a distinguishing mark allowing you access ONLY to the tent and band you chose upon registration. Guests will not be permitted to enter the opposite tent during the event due to tent capacity regulations and no one will be permitted to switch their tent on the night of the event. (hide)

What if my plans change and I need to modify or cancel my registration?

A: The deadline for a full refund is May 17 at 4:30 p.m. No refunds will be issued after May 17 at 4:30 p.m. Refunds will not be given for missed events after the event has taken place.

Registrant name badges are transferable up until Thursday, May 30 at 4:30 p.m. by emailing aw-registration@udel.edu with your request to transfer your registration. In the email, you must clearly state your name, registration confirmation number, and the full name and class year of the person to whom you are transfering your badge/registration. Name badges are NOT transferable after Thursday, May 30 at 4:30 p.m. If Mug Night is postponed and you are unable to attend Saturday night, no refund will be issued, however you may turn in your name badge in exchange for your mug and t-shirt. Absolutely no name badge / registration transfers will be accepted if Mug Night is postponed to Saturday. (hide)

What is your postponement/weather policy for Mug Night and the Lunch with the UD Mascots?

A: If inclement weather forces the postponement of Mug Night, the event will be held at the same location and the same time (8-11 p.m.) on Saturday, June 1, 2013. In the event that weather forces us to postpone the event to Saturday, you will be notified promptly. If you cannot attend the postponed event on Saturday, no refunds will be issued. If inclement weather on Saturday forces us the cancel the event, no refunds will be issued. In either situation, you will be notified promptly via email and text message to your cell phone if you opted in on the registration form. Also, the Alumni Weekend website will be updated throughout the weekend.

If inclement weather occurs on Saturday, June 1, 2013, the Lunch with the UD Mascots will be moved from the Blue Tent to the Trabant University Center food court. The event will be held at same time, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2013. In the event that weather forces us to move the event indoors, you will be notified promptly via email and text message to your cell phone if you opted in on the registration form about these alternative plans. Also, the Alumni Weekend website will be updated throughout the weekend. (hide)
