Dinner at the Blue & Gold Club
Seatings at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. • 44 Kent Way
The Blue & Gold Club offers fine food, sparkling service and an elegant atmosphere to the University community. The buffet dinner features roasted acorn squash soup, mixed greens with cranberry vinaigrette, pan-seared salmon with apple cider cream sauce, chicken francaise, tri-color cheese tortellini and grilled vegetable rosa, roasted red pepper mashed potatoes, broccoli with lemon vinaigrette and assorted desserts.
Dinner is $21.75 per person for adults and $9.85 for children ages 5 to 11. Proper attire is required; no jeans, sneakers or t-shirts permitted. For reservations and information, call (302) 831-2582.

Men's Soccer vs. Old Dominion University
7 p.m. • Delaware Mini-Stadium
Admission is $4 for adults, $2 for children, and free for UD students with ID. Tickets may be purchased at the Stadium on the day of the game.

Women's Volleyball vs. James Madison University
7 p.m • Barbara Viera Court at Carpenter Sports Building
Admission is $4 for adults, $2 for children ages 14 and under, and free for UD students with ID. Tickets may be purchased at Carpenter Sports Building on the day of the game.

Ghosts (and History) on The Green (sold out)
Walking Tours at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. • Old College old college
Learn about the University's haunted history during a thrilling 90-minute walking tour of campus lead by author Ed Okonowicz (UD '69, '83M) and historian Mike Dixon. Together, they will share campus stories that aren’t featured in the official guidebooks, as well as local legends and folktales related to Newark and UD's campus. This walking tour will be held, regardless of weather conditions.

Free admission, but tickets are required and must be ordered via the online ticket order process.

UD Women's Ice Hockey vs. Slippery Rock University

Admission is free.

Ice Skating
8 p.m. to 10 p.m. • Fred Rust Ice Arena

Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for children 6 and under, free for UD students with ID. Skate rental is $3 per pair.

Open Hockey

Blue Hen Tailgate Brunch
10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon • Inside Delaware Field House
Show your blue and gold spirit while enjoying a Blue Hen Tailgate Brunch featuring Monterey Jack Scramble Eggs, Assorted Bagels with Cream Cheese, Turkey with Gouda and Sun Dried Tomato Pesto on a French Baguette,  Grilled Vegetable Panini, Pulled BBQ Pork, Cornbread with Cinnamon Honey Butter, Pumpkin Cookies, Apple Pie and assorted beverages. Enjoy live entertainment by the Royal Palm Steel Band throughout the Party and join the UD marching band, cheerleaders, dance team and YoUDee for an entertaining display of school spirit. Price is $17.75 for adults, $8.50 for children 8 and under.  Students are required to purchase tickets for this event as it is not included in the UD meal plan.

Football vs. James Madison
12:00 p.m. kickoff • Tubby Raymond Field at Delaware Stadium
Enjoy the thrill of championship football as the Fightin’ Blue Hens take on CAA Conference rival James Madison University.
Tickets are $21 each for reserved seats in the East and West Grandstands, except for UD students with ID who wish to sit in the student sections. Please note, Parents and Families are not permitted to sit in the student sections. Therefore, Parents and Families who wish to sit with their student at the game must purchase a ticket for the student to sit in the Grandstands.

The brunch buffet includes assorted bagels, muffins, Danish and pastries, fresh fruit, omelets made to order, waffles with assorted toppings, bacon and sausage, homefries, eggs benedict, seafood crepes, carved herb-crusted turkey breast, grilled flank steak, and smoked salmon display.
Brunch is $19.65 per person for adults and $9.85 for children ages 5 to 11 Proper attire is required; no jeans, sneakers or t-shirts permitted. For reservations and information, call (302) 831-2582.

Brunch University Style
11 a.m. to 2 p.m. • Kent, Pencader, Rodney, and Russell Dining Halls
The entire family can enjoy this unique opportunity to sample part of college life with brunch in the dining halls. The brunch buffet includes carved cola glazed ham, seaford and asparagus frittata with asiego cheese, oven roasted new potatoes, citrus buttered green beans, scrambled eggs, eggs made to order, sausage patties, corned beef hash, Caesar salad, pancakes, make your own waffle bar, breakfast pastries and assorted beverages.
Brunch is $7.90 per person. Tickets are not required for UD students using meal plans.

Parking and Transportation
 

Parking for Parents and Family Weekend activities is available on campus in the Trabant University Center Parking Garage on Main Street and in other lots around campus.

Friday, November 2 Complementary parking will be available in the Trabant Garage from 5 p.m. to Midnight.

Saturday, November 3 Complimentary parking will be available in the Trabant Garage from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Shuttle bus service will be available between the Trabant Garage and the David M. Nelson Athletic Complex. The shuttles will leave the Trabant garage beginning at 9 a.m. and will continue in 20-minute intervals until 5 p.m.

Except as noted above, all Parents and Family Weekend events are free and tickets or advance reservations are not required. When tickets are required, they may be ordered online by clicking here

Of special note:

  • For the Football Game, UD students with ID receive free admission for seating in the student sections ONLY. Parents and Families who wish to have their students sit with them in the Grandstands MUST purchase tickets for them. Please note that parents and families are not permitted to sit in the student sections
  • For brunch in the dining halls on Sunday, November 4, UD students using meal plans do not need tickets.

Ticket orders must be made online no later than Wednesday, October 24. Ticket orders received after this date cannot be processed However, if available, tickets for the Pre-Game brunch and Sunday brunch in the dining halls may be purchased at the door.

Please note, tickets for many events may sell out prior to the sales deadline. ORDER TICKETS EARLY!

Orders made online by Wednesday, October 17 will be mailed to you. All orders received between October 18 and October 24 will be held for pick-up at the University Box Offices. Please see the box office locations and hours below.

A processing fee will be incurred for all tickets ordered, regardless of the cost.
