MembershipWho is eligible?Membership in the chapter is open to all full-time faculty who are members of the Bargaining Unit. Today, more than half of UD's faculty are members of the AAUP. If you are not a member, the time has come to support the organization that supports you. The more members we have, the greater our bargaining power. How much are dues?If you join now, local dues are free for the first year - a savings of $130! Faculty new to the university will receive free local and national dues for one year if they join during their first academic year of hire. 2008 dues are regularly $291, reduced for non-tenured faculty with less than 4 years total AAUP membership at any institution. Payment MethodsThe easiest payment method is by payroll deduction. The other alternative is direct payment to the chapter office (301 McDowell Hall). How do I join?
