Course
Description: This course is designed for students who wish
to satisfy the math requirement for graduation and who are not planning to
continue taking math courses. The course
will cover some concepts in algebra, how to work with linear equations and
functions, how to work with inequalities and use graphing for simple linear
programming. The course also covers some
nonlinear models such as quadratic, exponential, logarithmic and trigonometric
functions. Finally, probability and some
basic statistics topics will be covered.
It would be beneficial to you to have a calculator that has a statistics
mode and has keys such as yx, ex, lnx, sin, cos, tan.
