The Feminist Majority internship is one of the top 100 internships in the country, according to the Princeton Review's America's Top 100 Internships.

NARAL Pro-Choice America
NARAL has a number of full-time and part-time internships throughout the year in Communications, Development, Executive, Government Relations, Legal, and Political departments. Salary can range from an hourly rate to a monthly stipend depending on the position and the college requirements. All the positions provide opportunities for recent graduates or students to develop their office skills while working with a social issue that they actively support. As a non-profit organization, interns are an integral component of NARAL's mission.

National Organization for Women
Each semester NOW interns participate in a wide range of activities which distinguish them from other Washington, D.C. based programs. A few of the activities provided for interns each semester include frequent opportunities to organize and attend Congressional and U.S. Supreme Court hearings, press conferences, demonstrations and rallies; training in a successful, time-honored grassroots organizing including workshops on campus organizing, coalition building and networking; and, weekly intern discussion groups and field trips on a wide range of feminist issues which are led by National NOW staff and officers.

The Washington Center
Since 1975, The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars has provided over 35,000 students with a comprehensive, participatory learning experience in Washington, D.C. Programs are available year round, in a multitude of areas such as politics, non-profit organizations, information technology, and more. Of special interest to Women's Studies students is their Women As Leaders Seminar and Women in Public Policy Program.

Internships at the Margaret Sanger Papers Project
The Margaret Sanger Papers Project is a documentary editing project located in the History Department at New York University. Its aim is to produce microfilm, book and electronic editions of the Papers of Margaret Sanger. There are over 100,000 documents to be catalogued, indexed, and researched. Interns at the Sanger Project have assisted the editors in all three phases of the Project and received broad experience in historical documents and editing. Internships may be arranged in the summer months or throughout the academic year.
