Internships in Women's Studies
Are you looking for a transformative academic experience? Through registration in WOMS 498 (Internship in Women's Studies), you can earn academic credits and credentials while you gain job training! Women's Studies will work with you to locate a job (on a volunteer basis) related to women's concerns and reflecting your individual interests and career goals. The internship is designed to provide students with the opportunity to combine practical experience with the academic issues that emerge in Women's Studies classes. This course fulfills the DLE requirement.

The successful internship student will:
  • work 115 hours per semester at a placement site
  • attend scheduled internship seminars
  • actively participate in seminar discussions
  • give a final oral presentation
  • complete assignments on time
If you are interested, contact Jessica Schiffman at jesss@udel.edu (831-8474) to discuss possibilities.
