The Women's Studies Program offers Faculty Summer Research Awards designed to support research in women's studies and gender. The goal of these awards is to stimulate research on women and gender within and across disciplines.

Proposals for these research awards are invited from University of Delaware faculty members at all stages of their careers (junior, mid-level or senior) and from all departments, programs, and colleges at the University. We particularly encourage submission of proposals that focus on issues of diversity and on understudied or emerging research areas.

Successful applicants are expected to develop a course on the summer research topic. These courses will be offered either as a Women's Studies course or as a course cross-listed with Women's Studies. These courses will be offered in subsequent semesters.

Faculty Summer Research Awards are given up to a maximum of $6,000 each.
