UDSIS Project Update - April 4 2006

Here are some highlights from the many teams working on this project:

Undergraduate Admissions Team (Jeff Rivell)
  • Over 19,000 Fall 2006 freshman decision letters have been sent out, and the transfer process will begin soon.
  • The Events module is being utilized to record attendance and manage admissions events such as Decision Day this month and others throughout the spring and summer.
Financial Aid Team (Jim Holloway)
  • Loading federal financial aid applications for Fall 2006.
  • Processing freshman financial aid awards through mid May, when the focus shifts to upper classmen and late freshmen.
Campus Community Team (Elizabeth Wardrop)
  • They are updating names in SIS+ and UDSIS.
Communications and Training Team (Elizabeth Wardrop and Ellen Lepine)
  • UDSIS Basic Training will be launched in April. Training is targeted to administrative and departmental staff.
  • Keep an eye on this website www.udel.edu/UDSISproject/info/. It will be updated continually with new training, FAQs and other documentation.
Student Records Team (Jeff Palmer)
  • This team has identified the top 30 feeder universities/colleges to UD and is working to add courses and equivalents. They are concentrating on 100 and 200 level courses. This information is used for admission processing and advisement.
