Student Information System

Welcome to the source for information and updates to the UD Students Information System (UDSIS)

The implementation of UDSIS is the final component of the University's overall administrative systems upgrade that began in 1998 with the Office of Human Resources' switch to the PeopleSoft system. The previous student system, SIS+, was almost 15 years old and nearing the end of its reasonable life expectancy. With UDSIS in place, it is now a fully integrated system that benefits the whole campus.

Advantages of UDSIS:

  • UDSIS is web-based which makes it easier to navigate and learn
  • Data entry is based on drop-down boxes and look-up features which reduces mistakes due to human error
  • SSN is no longer used as the student ID which addresses PNPI concerns
  • Financial Aid Application Processing is enhanced
  • Communications functionality to students and prospects is improved
  • Admissions prospects now reside in the same database as students
  • Events capability for Admissions (events such as Daily Campus Tours and Blue & Golden Saturdays).
