1. Executive Committee Update


The executive committee update was released with the agenda. One question relative to coordination with the g/l arose and Marsha indicated that this tree item is being added to the trees sub-team agenda for discussion.

2. HEUG Highlights

• Cheryl discussed two of the reporting sessions she attended. The 1^st was a session of vendor software providers demonstrating their tools to prepare reports based upon a given scenario. From this, Cheryl indicated that the reporting team might like to look at the Brio product offering in addition to Cognos which was demonstrated yesterday. The second dealt with impromptu user reporting given by the Central Queensland University from data found in PeopleSoft’s student system; therefore was not too beneficial. The most beneficial reporting session was a security session in that Ohio State University shared code with participants that generates a variety of audit and management reports. This SQL has been forwarded to Van for review.
• Carol discussed a tree session she found interesting relating to aggregating data back into trees.

1. Public Query Subteam Report


Amy reported that the team has classified the current AP reports and that another meeting of the subteam will occur prior to involving AP in the process. Marsha indicated that Burt Wilson will be leading the AP portion of the combined Purchasing/AP module team and that both he and Tory Windley should be contacted.

2. Trees Subteam Report


Marsha indicated that the Executive Team has requested the Trees Subteam coordinate activities with the G/L team to minimize duplication of effort and to share findings. The Subteam will discuss best method to coordinate and share future discoveries with other teams. Subteam most recently learned that you cannot mix dynamic and static nodes within the same tree.
