Project Module Team Meeting

Present: Denise Schneider (General Accounting/Team Leader), Van Adams (IT/MIS), Gail Tentor (Facilities), Gerri Hobbs (OVPR), Dave Bley (Facilities), Carol Rylee (Budget Office/Executive Team), Robin Harbaugh (Marine Studies).

Excused: Rachel Strickland (OVPR)

The meeting began promptly at 10am.

General review of Peoplesoft training on 8/28. Those project members that were trained on 8/28 will share the training manual used for the training with the other project module team members that didn’t receive the training.

Current Business:

Facilities, OVPR & Endowments discussed their complimentary databases and the complimentary databases used by the seven colleges. Rachel Strickland will be getting more information on complimentary databases from the College of B&E and Gail Tentor and Dave Bley will be getting more information from Chemistry, Biology and Drug and Alcohol Studies. Complimentary database information will be put on the web at UDFS in the future.

Team members need to have a list of department reports for the next meeting on 9/20. The list should contain only reports done on a regular basis, not one time ad hoc reports. Reports need to be categorized as to whether they are for internal or external use, who the reports are used by, what tools are used to produce the reports and how frequently they are done.

The regularly scheduled meetings will be every other Wednesday from 10am – 11:30am from 9/20 through 12/13.

Facilities, Endowments and OVPR will meet with Lynda Ruggerio on 9/6, 9/11 & 9/15 respectively to further explain their events lists.
