Project Module Team Meeting

Tasks Assigned
Committee members need to check the Peoplesoft information on another member’s panels for the 1st four columns of the worksheet, which will be e-mailed to that member to look at any changes and then should be e-mailed to Denise by 12/22.
Committee members need to continue thinking about how their departments would use the user-defined chartfields.
Facilities will provide an expanded data dictionary.
Project Module Committee will do a presentation of where we are for the Executive Committee on 12/13 in 003 Hullihen Hall.
Members need to make notes of panels that they feel have good potential for 12/13 presentation.
Subcommittee members will work with Lynda Ruggerio on their events lists to determine what matches and doesn’t between UD and the PS flowcharts on 12/1.
Gail will e-mail the Listserv to see how many Universities/Colleges either have implemented or are implementing the PS Project Module.
Denise to look into creating practical directions for obtaining information about fields from Peoplebooks.
Denise will continue exploring what is available in PS training.
Denise will look into how PS webcasts might help(Customer Connection)
All to email availability for 12/7 and 12/8 for an interim meeting before presentation on 12/13.
General Notes:
- The University will implement PS version 8.
- UD information for the single user version (SUV) will be available soon.
- Preliminary suggestions for user defined chartfields are beginning versus temporary versus permanent budgets, projects within projects, and projects by PI.
