Tasks Assigned
Committee members need to check the Peoplesoft information on another member’s panels for the 1st four columns of the worksheet, which will be e-mailed by 11/17.
Committee members need to continue thinking about how their departments would use the user-defined chartfields.
Facilities will provide an expanded data dictionary.
Project Module Committee will do a presentation of where we are for the Executive Committee on 12/13.
Subcommittee formed(Rachel-chair) to work with Lynda Ruggerio on their events lists to determine what matches and doesn’t between UD and the PS flowcharts for 12/13.
Denise to continue exploring available training.
Denise to look into how PS webcasts might help(within Customer Connection)
Committee members need to respond to Denise concerning schedule for new year.
General Notes:
- In the future, committee members will be contacting schools that are using the Projects/Grants modules.
- UD information for the single user version (SUV) will be available soon. Net DePloy to be loaded onto one machine per team leader by MIS.
- Members need to make notes of panels that they feel have good potential(in preparation for the 12/13 presentation).
- Preliminary suggestions for user defined chartfields are temporary versus permanent budgets, projects within projects, and projects by PI.
