Readiness Course

The pilot version of the Readiness Course was presented to our guests by Dave McCarren. Guests were asked to hold questions to the end; presentation took 30 minutes. Questions and comments followed; comments will be incorporated into revised version of the Readiness Course by 2/10.

Overall sense was that guests found the session useful; people said they didn’t have major concerns; there were several questions but not a sense that people were in a “panic.”

Some comments were:

• Whom do we ask for help?
• What will happen to historical data/ how long can we use old tools? (some follow-up needed regarding how long GA-PRD views will be updated with new data after 7/1/03; different people have heard different things)
• Is there a user field? (issue for follow-up: should there be a uservalue set at match? Would this be useful for many? Group to explore Chris Cook’s suggestion at future meeting)

All Comm. Team members should begin to offer the revised Readiness Course to people in their units. Some may wish to offer it to all financial users in their units, not just the tier ones, since the presentation lends itself to a large group.

Labor Allocation will be demo’d. Carol Rylee and Al Roberson to be guests (Carol re: the L.A.M. and Roby re: security issues.)
