CLASS update
- For
faculty (211, 216, some 210), will just see 000 in HRMS web views (that’s
all that’s in their table); for others, will see the class (this was
crosswalked from old line number)
Security Issues
- Staff
with access to PeopleSoft will be e-mailed the url to sign-in at which time
the unix name (case sensitive) will be needed for both PeopleSoft user
name and password. It is important
that the password be changed at the time of the first logon-in. If a user does not log on for
approximately 21 days, the password will be automatically changed and the
user will need to contact Computer Security.
Training Plan Status Update
- Trees Class subgroup
report – Chris Cook - no new
information at this time.

Basic Training
- Monthly
Statement issues:
- Statements
will be pushed to the person who is currently shown to get the statements
in the General Accounting DV screen.
The University cannot add additional users to receive statements
at this time. However, a
Department can request Marsha Lockard to change who the statement is
pushed to.
- Revised
EZQs
- Working
on some ezq’s for project to date –
they are the same four as
balance with budget.
However, some data is not correct in the UOD Balances record, on
which the EZQs are based.
- File
on the public web site:
- Basic
training is currently on public site at unpublished site. A link will be inserted so that
training is easy to find for Comm team members but not to most
users. LAM training will be made
available on public web site.
- Duplicate
slides:
- Slides
62 and 63 are duplicates. Will
delete 63 and put in 62 notes that it is Ellen’s revision
- Slides
67 and 68 are duplicates. Will
delete 68 and put in 67 notes that it is Ellen’s revision
Go Live Announcement:
- Peggy
to work on draft and review it with Mr. Roberson.
- See
above about user name and password in FIRPT.
- If
users have access problems they should contact Marsha or Ellen. Remind users that they can use GA Query
at least through 10/03 and DataWarehouse at least through 6/04. [NOTE: after the meeting, per Roby, this was
changed to be Russ Merendino, who will notify Marsha and others as
appropriate.]
- Tell
users for other problems contact Comm Team Rep or Procurement Services.
- New
forms will be located on UD forms site:

Help Desk:
- Ellen
discussed a table she did for Help Desk which will assist Help Desk Staff
in routing users to correct person.
This table will be e-mailed to Comm Team.
Procurement Issues:

Richard McCaulley joined the meeting to discuss
purchase order queries. Currently, the
system will allow any UD PeopleSoft user to query any UD Purchase Order and
associated payments. Rick received
input from Tory and wanted input from the Comm Team before going to Mr. Hollowell
for a decision. The accounts payable
section will be closed. The Comm Team
recommended that the Purchase Orders remain open for now and be restricted
according to purpose access as soon as possible.
