3-Way Calling

This can be accomplished on any University telephone set. Call the first party and then put them on hold by depressing the switch hook or tap/flash key. You will hear a recall dial tone at which time you can place a call to the desired third party. When the third party answers, depress the switch hook again and all parties will be included in a three-way conference call.

Conference Calling For Groups of More Than Three

Telephone Services supports Infinite Conferencing to provide conference calling solutions for the University of Delaware. Please contact Telephone Services at telephone-services@udel.edu. You will be set up with a unique conference calling account for all of your audio conferencing needs. The account will include a chairperson code, a participant code and an 800 dial-in number. This account information is exclusive to you and is yours to keep and reuse as needed, 24/7.

Advantages to setting up an Infinite Conference calling account:

1. No prior planning needed to set up a call. You decide when your call will be and provide the participants the 800 dial-in number and participant code.

2. All calls will be charged to your account. Telephone Services will bill you monthly. Pricing is extremely affordable with no monthly account charge. Pricing will be provided to you at the time of your account set up.

3. International participants can also call in, but please be sure to let Telephone Services know if this service will be utilized by international participants. Special rates and instructions apply.

4. Once your account is set up, you will receive an e-mail from Telephone Services with all of your pertinent information and instructions to get you started.

5. User guides are available at http://support.infiniteconferencing.com.

When requesting a new account, please include the following information:

1. Department/College name

2. Owner's name, e-mail address and phone number

3. Contact name (if different than owner), e-mail address and phone number

4. Account must be set up or approved by an account code administrator for your department. Please include this information in your e-mail. A copy of the confirmation e-mail from Telephone Services will also be sent to the account code administrator.
