Sport Management Program

Welcome to the Sport Management department website. We are thrilled that you are interested in our program and hope that you will find all of the information that you need during your visit to our website. Sport Management is the study of sport and our graduates generally find careers in the sport industry.

The programs in this field provide coursework in all related disciplines and recognize the critical necessity for field experience (internships) to enhance career preparation. Employment opportunities for those who complete studies in sport management are as diverse as sport itself and are found in both the public and private sectors. Possibilities include college and university athletic departments, major and minor league teams, sport facilities, sport agencies, sport media, and various sport governing bodies such as the United States Olympic Committee and the National Collegiate Athletic Association.
