Tim DeSchriver is an Associate Professor in the Sport Management program. Tim came to the University of Delaware in 2004. Prior to UD, Tim was an Assistant Professor at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst for six years and also an Assistant Professor at Western Carolina University for three years. Tim primarily instructs courses in Sport Finance and Sport Marketing. He has published numerous articles in journals such as the Journal of Sport Management, Sport Marketing Quarterly, Sport Management Review, and the Eastern Economics Journal. Tim is also the co-author of Sport Finance, (1st and 2nd editions), along with Gil Fried and Steve Shapiro. Dr. DeSchriver has also consulted with sport organizations such as the NCAA, Anschutz Entertainment Group, the New York Red Bulls, Ripken Baseball, and the National Steeplechase Association. Dr. DeSchriver earned his Ed.D.in Sport Administration from the University of Northern Colorado, a Masters degree in Economics from Penn State University, and a Bachelors degree in Economics from Villanova University.

Edgar Johnson returned to the University of Delaware faculty in the fall of 2009 after serving as the University's Director of Athletics for 25 years. He was only the third person to serve in that position since 1940. He received his bachelor's degree in physical education in 1967 and his master's degree in education in 1969, both from the University of Delaware. Mr. Johnson will begin instructing courses in the Sport Management program in the fall of 2010.

Jerry Oravitz is the Director of Football Operations/Special Assistant to the Director of Athletics at the University of Delaware. In addition, he serves as an instructor in the UD Sport Management Curriculum. Mr. Oravitz oversees the HESC 302 and 303 Practicum courses.
