VERIFICATION & CERTIFICATION OF STUDENT
STATUS, DATES OF ATTENDANCE & DEGREES CONFERRED
Certification is performed by the Office of the University
Registrar via letters, in report form, and by verification
both within the University and for the public through electronic,
mail and telephone inquiries. University policy and the provisions
set forth in the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of
1974 are followed in providing information.
Letters verifying enrollment for lenders, insurance companies,
employers, and others may be requested:

* in person at the Service Desk in the Student Services Building,
Lovett Avenue;
* via letter to: The Registrar's Office - SSB, University of Delaware, Newark,
DE 19716;
* via fax: (302-831-3005) or;
* by telephone: (302-831-8987).
For all but electronic requests, please be specific as to
the information required and sign your request. We ask that
you give us an address and phone number where you can be reached
during business hours (M-F 8am-5pm) should questions arise
concerning your certification request

by the Registrar's Office may be submitted in person or through
