Renewing Permits -
To keep your current parking, select "yes" when asked, "Do you want
to renew your current permit?" Current reserve space and gate lot patrons
must choose "yes" when asked, "Do you want to renew your current permit?"
to retain current assignment.
Wait List for Gate Lot Parking -
If you are currently on a wait list for gate lot parking, please do
not answer yes to "Do you want to be put on the wait list for a gate
lot", unless you want to be added to a second wait list. When a gate
lot space becomes available you will be notified. If you currently
do not have gate lot parking and would like to request it, please
register for a gold or blue permit and follow the instructions to
be placed on a wait list. You will be contacted when space is available.
Pre-Tax & After-Tax -
When choosing payroll deduction as an option, pre-tax means that your
taxable income is reduced by the cost of your permit. After tax means
that you will pay taxes on the cost of your permit.
Outstanding Citations -
Non-university employees with outstanding citation(s)
will not be able to obtain a parking permit if there is an outstanding
balance on their account.
University employees with outstanding
citation(s) will not be able to obtain a parking permit if there is
an outstanding balance on their account.
If you are both a student and an employee, parking is based on the following
criteria:
Status as a full-time employee and/or employee with
benefits supercedes student status.
Student status supercedes status as non full-time employee
and/or employee without benefits.
Eligibility -
Retiree permits are a benefit from the University. To determine your
eligibility, please contact Human Resources.
Retiree Logon Access -
To request a retiree permit online, new retirees must have a UDelNetID
and password. If you do not have a logon, please contact Human Resources
at 302-831-8677.
Renewing Permits -
New retirees should not renew their current permit. They should choose
the retiree option and return their active permit to Parking Services.
