About US
Community Services provides Police, Security and Support services to the University of Delaware. In addition to traditional police services, the department offers many specialized services, including training, events management, building security, messenger service, student police aides, escorts and the Emergency Care Unit, to name a few.
The department is committed to ongoing, specialized training for its employees to ensure that quality services are delivered to the University community at a professional level.
Anyone requiring event security, or other special services, must submit the required paperwork at least two weeks prior to the event. Requests for messenger service must be accompanied by a messenger request form.
