About the Lab:

The focus of the research under Dr. Davis is understanding the relationships between lower extremity structure, mechanics, and injury during human locomotion.  Most of the studies in the lab investigate these relationships during running.  A major goal in the lab is to improve running mechanics in injured runners so that they may run pain free.  This is done by way of Gait Retraining.  The Davis lab is also the site of the University of Delaware Running Injury Clinic.
