I would once again like to extend a hearty greeting to all of the alumni and friends of the UD Physical Therapy Department.  Some exciting things have happened since we sent out our last alumni newsletter. 

The Department added a new tenure-track faculty position, which was filled by Dr. Katherine Rudolph.  Katy has been in a temporary teaching position in our department for the past three years and we are very pleased to see her in this new permanent position.  The new tenure-track faculty position was the result of our recent increase in grant funding.  Over the past year the department has been fortunate to be part of two very large grants, totaling nearly ten million dollars. Both grants are from the National Institute for Health and involve collaborations with the Department of Mechanical Engineering.    Over the last year we have also seen major changes in our PT program.
