    Activity - public education on the physical therapy profession

  2. Adult with Spinal Cord Injury, Newark DE
    Activity - providing assistance for a young adult with SCI to perform health promotion and wellness activities to maintain gait, endurance and community participation
    When - scheduled times through the year

  3. Adult with CVA
    Activity - providing assistance for an adult post stroke to perform health promotion and wellness activities to maintain endurance and community participation

  4. Adult with Upper Extremity Contractures
    Activity: provide ROM and soft tissue techniques to an adult with host versus graft disease to promote function

  5. Freedom Hills Therapeutic Riding, Port Deposit MD
    Activity- assist with the therapeutic riding for children and adults with functional limitations and impairments that limit participation in normal daily tasks.

  6. MS Clinic, Newark DE
    Activity- students participate in clinic session for assessment and developing home exercise programs to enhance participation and quality of life (including remediation of impairments) for adults with MS.
    When- 3x's in spring and 3x's in fall
    Service Learning Hours- meets the requirement for health promotion and wellness. Some hours may qualify for promotion of the profession and cultural diversity.

  7. Adult with Traumatic Brain Injury, Newark DE
    Activity- students assist an adult with TBI to a balance and strength training program in a community gym.
    When- scheduled times throughout the year

  8. Pediatric Gait Training at ELC
    Activity: Assist child with gait impairment with gait training activities (Health and Wellness)
    When: weekly

  9. Special Olympics
    Activity: Assist children participating in special olympics between and during olympic activities. (Health and Wellness)
    When: Annually (April 10, 2008, 9am-1pm)

  10. Employee Wellness Fair
    Activity: promote profession at UD employee wellness fair (Promotion of the Profession)
