Trunk Muscle Factors and Physical Function in

Healthy Older Adults

The goal of this study is to document disability, physical function, psychosocial function, and trunk muscle (abdominal and low back) characteristics in a sample of healthy older adults. The collection of this information will provide investigators with normative data, which is essential when performing studies which focus on disabled or unhealthy populations. Once collected, this data can be used for comparison to subjects of similar age and sex who suffer from chronic low back pain in order to further the overall knowledge and understanding regarding the interaction of the above factors when low back pain is present.
