Pediatric Clinical
Rehabilitation Services

The University of Delaware PediatricRehabilitation Clinic is housed in the Early Learning Center on the campus of the University of Delaware. This clinic is a comprehensive, multidisciplinary pediatric rehabilitation service center that provides care for children, ages birth to 12 years, requiring physical, occupational, speech and language therapies.

The multi service integrated clinic has been developed in collaboration with our physical therapy clinical and research faculty. Our purpose is to develop and model best practice in pediatric therapy while exploring delivery care paradigms, collecting and analyzing treatment efficacy data, and providing on-site educational experiences for our physical therapy graduate students. Children served by our clinic will benefit from treatment by highly skilled and specialized therapists and family/caregiver education. The UD Pediatric Rehabilitation Clinic staff includes 1 full-time PT, 1 full-time OT, 1 full-time SLP and multiple part-time therapists.

Our Mission:

1.  provide pediatric clinical education experiences for University of Delaware physical therapy students, including opportunities for clinical practice, clinical research, and specialized practical experiences.
2.  promote and expand clinical research opportunities in the area of pediatrics for faculty and students.
3.  provide comprehensive pediatric rehab service to children and families from the University community and the community at large  by experienced, highly competent practitioners
