Sports Residency

The sports resident treats patients in the UD PT Clinic and observes in the office and operating room with local orthopedic surgeons. Residents will receive mentored clinical practice in a variety of areas including evaluation and treatment of the spine and extremities emphasizing the knee and shoulder, on field management of athletic injuries and rehabilitation of athletes on and off the field. Teaching opportunities in the DPT program include assisting with Musculoskeletal Evaluation and Treatment, Rounds, and Emergency First Responder.
