Orthopedic Residency

The Orthopedic resident treats patients at the UDPT clinic as well as local clinics and observes office and surgical procedures with local orthopedic surgeons. As a resident, you will receive mentored clinical practice in a variety of areas including evaluation and treatment of the spine, upper and lower extremities, hand therapy, ergonomic evaluation, industrial rehabilitation, and joint arthroplasty. Teaching opportunities in the DPT program include assisting with Musculoskeletal Evaluation and Treatment, Rounds, Spine Management, and Emergency First Responder.
