Geriatric Residency Training Program

Eligibility

  • Those eligible for physical therapy licensure in the State of Delaware (Delaware State link)
  • APTA membership required throughout residency
  • International applicants
  • Domestic Students Pending Graduation:
    • Board exam has to be completed within 2 weeks of beginning residency (FSBPT link)
  • Application Deadlines and Materials (see below)
  • Computer proficient in Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

Commencement

The resident selected for the Geriatric Physical Therapy Residency Program will start in January.


Application Deadlines

Residency Terms (13.5 months):

  • January 1-February 15
    • Application materials due September 1
    • Interview dates: September 15 - October 7


Early Decision Process for January 1st start date:

  • For University of Delaware Graduates
  • Application materials due by March 30th
  • If this residency is filled through early admission, the application deadline will be posted as closed by April 30th
