For access to the PT Dept Online Schedule (MAL, ITL, MPL, etc):

  1. The new person should go to the Online Schedule page
  2. click on one of the labs as if you were scheduling time
  3. You will be prompted for a Username and Password
  4. Under the "sign in" button click on the link to "Request New Account"
  5. enter the information requested. "Your Group" is your advisor
  6. click Submit

I think the request is sent to Jie Yang <jyang@imcinteractive.com> and to your advisor to be approved. The login name you request can be ANYTHING it does NOT need to be your udel ID, however, I recommend you use the same username so it will be easy to remember! Give it a day or so (longer if your advisor is out of town) and if it still does not work contact Jie.

To be added to an e-mail list

udpt-mal@udel.edu or bioms e-mail lists

(udpt-mal, bioms-students, bioms-friends, bioms-faculty) send your e-mail address to the BMSC Admissions Coordinator* s/he will add you to the list. Any e-mail address can be added, (eg. yahoo.com gmail.com etc) however most people use their udel.edu e-mail address.

Access to Protected Web Sites

DPT Course Web Sites

Send your UDEL UNIX ID (the first part of your UDEL e-mail address) to the PT Admissions Coordinator* and s/he will add your username to that protection list for course web sites.

BMSC Student or Faculty sites or UDPT-MAL archives

Send your UDEL UNIX ID (the first part of your UDEL e-mail address) to the BMSC Admissions Coordinator* along with the web pages to which you want access (udpt-mal archives, bmsc students, bmsc faculty) and s/he will add your username to the appropriate protection list.

*Aug 15, 2007: Currently, the BMSC Admissions Coordinator position is vacant. When a new person is hired, that person will take over these duties, but for now Lynn McDowell <lynnmc@udel.edu> has generously agreed to add names to protected web sites and e-mail lists.
