Dr. Dusing's VCU Home Page


Dr. Dusing received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Daemen College in Amherst NY.  She received her Masters of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Human Movement Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  Dr. Dusing joined the Physical Therapy Faculty at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2006.  Her primary research interests include the impact of prematurity on motor control and coordination as well as physical therapy interventions for infants.  Dr. Dusing is a Visiting Professor at the University of Delaware while participating as a Faculty Scholar in the Comprehensive Opportunities in Rehabilitation Research Training (CORRT) program (NIH/ K12 HD055931).  Dr. Dusing will be conducting research on the postural development of infants born preterm in collaboration with Dr. Cole Galloway and the Motor Behavior Laboratory research staff.
