Check requests
The cutoff dates for Request for Checks, Cash Advances and Business Expense Reports for check production during November are at noon, Wednesdays, Nov. 4, 11 and 18 and Monday, Nov. 23.

During December the schedule is noon, Wednesdays, Dec. 2, 9 and 16 and Monday, Dec. 21.

Holiday decorating
The key to making a decision about the type and quantity of holiday season decorations involves good common sense. The Department of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) has a helpful list of "Dos and Don'ts" to help employees play it safe during the holiday decorating season.

Library hours
Operating hours through Nov. 24 for the University Library and the Agriculture Library Collection, (temporarily housed in the Morris Library during Townsend Hall renovations) are 8 a.m.-midnight, Mondays-Thursdays; 8 a.m. -8 p.m., Fridays; 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Saturdays; and 11 a.m.-midnight, Sundays.

Special Collections and Exhibition Gallery hours are 9 a.m-5 p.m., Mondays and Wednesdays through Fridays; and 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Tuesdays.

The Morris Library and Agriculture Library Collection will maintain regular fall semester hours for Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3, and service desks will be staffed. On that day, Special Collections will be open 9 a.m.-8 p.m.

Ravens tickets
The UD Baltimore Area Alumni Club is sponsoring an outing to the football game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, Nov, 1, at the NFL Stadium at Camden Yards.

A pregame reception will begin at 10:30 a.m., at the Sheraton Inn Inner Harbor. Kickoff is at 1 p.m., with reserved seats for alumni and guests in the upper level, sections 536-537.

Cost is $50 per person and includes pregame reception and ticket to the game. Confirmation and directions will be sent prior to the game. Tickets will be distributed at the brunch. Some tickets are still available.

Elder assistance
The six-part eldercare series begins Oct. 30 and extends through Dec. 11. Sessions are held from noon-1:30 p.m., Fridays, and space is limited to the first 50 participants.

Election Day skate
The Fred Rust Ice Arena will hold a special Election Day public skating session from 1-3 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 3. Admission for all ages is $5 per person, with skate rentals available at an additional $2.
